Mouboni – Abhilaksh wins double crown, Chitrax – Kausha claim senior title

Ahmedabad: Mouboni Chatterjee won both Junior Girls (u-19) Singles and Sub-Junior Girls Singles title defeating Khwaish Lotia and Jiya Trivedi respectively at the Mitra Wealth Advisors 5^th Ahmedabad District Table Tennis Championships 2023 organised by the Table Tennis Association of Ahmedabad at the Ahmedabad Racquet Academy, Sindhu Bhavan Road from 16^th to 17^th September, 2023. Whereas, Abhilaksh Patel won the Junior Boys (U-17) Singles and Sub – Junior Boys Singles title defeating Himansh Dahiya and Parv Vyas respectively.

In the Mens Singles Final Unseeded Chitrax Bhatt playing his first district of the tournament defeated 6^th Seeded Soham Bhattacharya 4-1 (11-9, 7-11, 11-7, 11-9, 11-7) and in the Womens Singles Final Top Seed Kausha Bhairapure staying to her billing defeated Mouboni Chatterjee 4-1 (11-9, 12-10, 11-8, 7-11, 11-4).
